Call-A-Nurse is a 24-hour medical call center specializing in registered nurse telephone advice, health information, and answering service. We provide both daytime and after-hours services including holiday coverage to more than 900 providers within 150 practices throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. We also provide support to hospitals with physician referral, service referral and class registration services. Our goal is to direct callers within the hospital network. Interpreter service is available in all languages to meet every caller’s need.
Since our origin in February 1994, Call-A-Nurse has built an experienced staff of sixty registered nurses who have an average of twenty years of clinical experience. In addition to our registered nurse staff, we are proud to employ trained clerical staff who assist with answering service duties and registered nurse support.
Since not all customers have the same needs, Call-A-Nurse is able to customize coverage hours. Service can be provided for day, evening, night or weekend support. We can also assist with daytime office triage and appointment scheduling needs.
Our customers are our best advocates. Annual physician surveys reveal virtually 100% satisfaction with our services. Physicians reply that Call-A-Nurse has significantly improved their quality of life and also improved office productivity.
